We are all aware of the huge amount of information circulating about Covid-19 and we are all trying to get to grips with the various guidelines to stay safe.

Engage with Age urges older people to follow public health guidance from official sources.

Current public health advice is to stay at home, keep social distance, and wash hands. For accurate advice and guidance please ensure to follow the Public Health Agency for Northern Ireland, as Northern Ireland regulations are sometimes different from those in England, Scotland and Wales.

Engage with Age can accept referrals of individual older people aged 50+ who are at risk of loneliness and social isolation, inviting them to participate in group activities. Engage with Age offers one-to-one telephone befriending support for individual older people but does not currently provide in person visits to individual older people. To make a referral please complete the on-line Referral Form and submit or alternatively please print off a copy of the PDF Referral Form and send it to us.
